Eunice, Founder
The founder Eunice has been tutoring since 2002. Trained as an occupational therapist with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy, she combined her love of teaching students and functional activity.
Prior to being an occupational therapist, she had extensive experience working with children with autism, including as an instructor therapist responsible for implementing behavioural therapist recommendations. She continues to practice as an occupational therapist within a major Toronto hospital network.
The Savoir Tutor Story
Savoir Tutor started with Eunice, as a private tutor in 2002. She tutored students in traditional subjects such as English, science and math while as a student and as an Instructor Therapist.

Upon becoming an occupational therapist, Eunice combined teaching methods with functional activities and realized that it resulted in general academic improvement and self-directed learning. She discovered using engaging activities lead to improvement in academic skills such as planning and literacy. Students' grades and confidence were increasing, and they were having a lot more fun learning! Eunice started to specialize in tutoring students with learning disabilities, such as ADHD and executive dysfunction.
Teaching French was added to her repertoire after working in Quebec as an occupational therapist. Now Eunice was tutoring students with learning disabilities who were transitioning from French immersion to core English, teaching French foundations to French immersion students and tutoring students with learning disabilities in French immersion.

Due to growing demand from word of mouth, Savoir Tutor was born. Eunice now hand picks and oversees creative tutors, who are able to explain and practice academic skills, sometimes disguised as fun activities. The tutors are academically strong, and are also able to tutor within their content expertise.

Despite managing Savoir Tutor, Eunice still makes time to tutor a student or two, for the satisfaction of witnessing the growth and confidence of the students as they begin to master academic skills.
What People Say
ASHLEY
You're awesome!
MARIANNA
We have nothing but praise for Eunice and her tutoring service, which stems from her kind advice, great functional activities that help promote literacy (i.e., reading recipes and going on geo-adventures), and overall responsiveness to our rapidly changing needs. My son needed some extra help and in Eunice he not only received that, but also a special connection
HAPPY DAD
My daughter has been attending virtual classes twice a week for awhile now. She thinks it's fun and is learning a lot. Thank you.
