To best reach the goal of self-directed learning, Savoir Tutor uses activities to introduce, practice and master the skills required for life long learning.
This can include the "work" of being a student - completing homework, preparing and organizing projects into manageable chunks, and test preparation without the cramming. These activities require time management, project management and other skills that will provide a strong academic foundation.
Activities related to your child's hobbies can also help generalize the skills of literacy, comprehension, organization and project management in an enjoyable way. Examples include cooking, geo-caching, and shopping for their birthday party loot bags. Our tutors are creatitive and will personalize the learning to your student.
